How to reduce your stress

Feeling stress is a very personal thing. Some people barely get nervous, others experience discomfort on a daily basis. Stress is integrally linked to new situations and things that we don’t know – and that’s entirely normal. A feeling of stress can be healthy and helpful – once it’s under one’s control. Than it bolsters up your motivation and “gives you a kick!”

Check how you can reduce your stress to a level when you are in control!

1. ADMIT YOUR FEARS
“Jim, I’m kind of stressed with this presentation for a new client.” – one simple sentence can make such a difference. Believe it or not (but better do) – admitting your fears, articulating them and sharing with people can actually help to “tame” them. Once you say something out loud, it becomes more tangible and it’s easier to fight with it. Remember, it’s not weak to feel uncomfortable about things. If you’re nervous means you care and want to do your best – that’s what people value. However, you need to control your stress, no other way round.

2. PLAN YOUR DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS
One of the simplest way to reduce your stress is to set yourself ready. What can definitely help is creating your own schedule of daily/ weekly/ monthly obligations. Don’t forget to consider time for delays and unpredictable situations. Always book a little bit more time that you think things can take. Adjust your planner to your needs. Always late with reports? Set a deadline two day before it actually is. Get to know your work pattern and cooperate with it to take best out of it.
